Here or There? Challenge to SA Christians in Business:

A very real and current challenge faced by Christian Businesspeople in South Africa is whether to consider the window of opportunity offered by the Pres. Trump Administration in regarding relocating to America under the US Refugee Admissions Program (USRP).

In other words: here or there; to Do Business, Occupy, Operate as instructed in Luke 19:13.

THERE:

The uniqueness of an opportunity such as the one afforded can and should not be underestimated as they are very few and far in-between. Doing projections based on SA’s realities of the past ± 20 years of our country’s future in the next 1, 5, 10 years and beyond can hardly be more depressing – especially if one consider the combined effect of the ANC, MK, EFF and related parties (Marxist / Socialist / Communist to their core) on SA’s past, present and most likely future.

In this regard an opportunity to make a new start elsewhere may very well become one that pioneers, optimise and treasure, whilst those who miss the opportunity come to regret. It is therefore recommended that those so inclined at least explore this window, find out what it entails and prayerfully make decisions for themselves, their children and grandchildren. For those committed and inspired to Outwit, Outlast and Overcome those Forces of Darkness bent on destructing a beautiful and unique country and its peoples like South Africa, the question may be: How?

Political leaders have unfortunately done nothing but disappoint significantly during recent decades - implying that though very important to what happens next - neither Vision, Strategy nor Action Plans required to turn SA in a completely different direction can be left to them alone. Equally disappointing is the resounding silence from Captains of Industry and Corporate Leaders – all, or most, apparently held prisoners by the desire not to rock the boat or be controversial. That leaves ordinary citizens and especially our younger generation who still must live this future we all contemplate.

Recent times have demonstrated the reformative momentum and power of Movements based on compelling and inspiring ideas. Let us therefore combine the energy and ideals of our young generation with the wisdom and support of our seasoned ones to lift, turn and refocus our country and its future.
