ACTIVATING A CONSERVATIVE MOVEMENT

The forces of darkness may very well be convinced that they have suffocated all hope from South Africa:

-        economically our country has been grinding to a halt for several years and the vestiges of a well functioning society lay scattered around;

-        morally the very pillars that hold a Christian, family-oriented society together has been

eroded by Cultural Marxist practices that infiltrated education and other important

cultural foundations to such an extent that we can no longer even recognise our own

society; and

-        politically the abolition of Apartheid led to a high-water mark with promises of a free

country where all can work, live and dream together whilst striving for a much better

future. It was very short lived though, and we have been sliding down a slippery slope

for decades that may soon see us ending in failed state status.

There is no leadership nor inspiring vision, very dark indeed.

Light shines most powerful in pitch darkness, and every crisis brings opportunity. Show me Pioneers, Innovators, Future Creators, Builders and Activists who have not faced similar or worse before setting off on their inspiring journeys.

Where statistics overwhelmingly point towards another failed Socialist / Communist experiment, there is however also a window of opportunity like never before: a shift taking place in many countries (America being biggest and fastest) towards solid, timeless values – from which rockets of innovation and positive change will be launched. We can utilise this powerful momentum and campaign for the rebuilding of our beautiful country (or part thereof) on three simple values:

·       Christian (including caring for the needy; treating others as you want to be treated; etc);

·       Free Market Economy; and

·       Rule of Law.

There is a very strong need for a conservative, centrist political party that holds and fosters these values; in its absence (or while it may be taking shape) we can activate as an action-oriented group.

The most important change we need to make is to turn back to God. Without Him at the foundation of our society, no plan will succeed.

Future Vision:

To turn South Africa into an internationally competitive country with a sustainable 5%+ growth rate within 2 years.

Where do we start?

a.     by assessing whether there is indeed a desire for such an initiative; and

b.     selection of a small, focused, core team to drive and grow the movement.
